Crazy Days

In the days following 911 I was a walking zombie, like most of us. I could not point out planes to my children; I had a constant dread. The dread has been taken over by apprehension. Why? I knew the world had changed after that day but I did not know how. I grew up hearing about bombs and the IRA but we're faced with a different bomb. Our bombs are more like Pinochet's Chile or Noriega's Nicaraga where fear is everywhere and there is no trust. No, its not that bad, yet. However,I have faith in our Constitution to take us back to a new, New Normal. Because if we're not fighting for that piece of paper and what it stands for I'm not sure why we're fight at all.
